#1. What’s your favorite form of potatoes?
Sweet potatoes. I shared a recipe for their yummy delight a few weeks ago
#2. Pie crust. Premade or from scratch?
From scratch. Yup, typical type A over-acheiver.
#3. Vegetables. Fresh, frozen or canned?
Fresh always/as much as possible, oh how I love the farmers market;
Frozen for things like Trader Joe's white corn;
Canned never. Too much salt, too much mush.
#4. What one dish do you wish you could prepare better?
Brownies. No, I'm serious. Mine are always runny or burt to a crisp and look like little turds. Doesn't matter if they are boxed or from scratch, they always have some issue. Hmm...maybe it's my oven?

I had problems all the time and when we moved we bought a new Stove and now the brownies come out perfect. Come to think about it since we moved my daughter makes all the brownies. lol It may not have been the oven. lol
Yep, those boxes ones from Costco are really good.
Thanks for playing Four Foods on Friday!
There's some really great canned veggies on the market now that are low sodium and not much mush. My freezer is jammed full and I let fresh veggies to go waste too often to pass up canned.
Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines have been my friends as far as brownies have gone, but I've noticed that depending on the oven things can go a bit crazy.
I love sweet potatoes too!
I have to have sweet potatoes at least every week or so. I've been making sweet potato chips lately: slice them thin, brush with butter or oil, bake crisp, then brush with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Yum!
